Treatment Details
Both FaceTite and BodyTite are in-office procedures.
For FaceTite, the patient is under local anesthesia (via injections) and light sedation. Your face will be cleansed and marked to help guide Dr. G. He will create very tiny incisions (usually in front of the ear, behind the earlobe, and under the chin) so that the FaceTite probe can enter the treatment area. While this internal probe heats the underlying fat to remove it, the external part of the probe works above the skin, stimulating new collagen production to achieve firmer, more youthful-looking skin.
The FaceTite treatment typically takes one hour, and depending on your personal cosmetic goals, more than one session may be needed. This will be discussed during your consultation with Dr. G.
For BodyTite, the patient is under local anesthesia and mild sedation if needed. Just like FaceTite, tiny incisions are made, the probe enters, and begins to go to work melting fat and tightening the skin. Only one treatment is usually needed with BodyTite, but this will vary from patient to patient.
For both FaceTite and BodyTite, built-in safeguards ensure that the temperature is closely monitored in order to keep patients safe and that the heat is being properly dispersed.
